#ArtistSpotlight: @Mike_Stud

If you haven't heard of Mike Stud by now, allow me to introduce you. Mike Stud is one of those stories where a guy from a small state out grew his environment (big fish in a little pond or something like that). Hailing from the state of Rhode Island, this is one artist who has been power housing his way into relevancy through good old hard work, consistently releasing quality music his audience goes crazy for. That consistency though. Read more about Mike's background with an excerpt from his BIO on (mikestudofficial.com), his story is actually pretty amazing give it a read

"The legend of Mike Stud dates back to his days growing up as one of Rhode Island's greatest baseball players of all time. As a highly touted high school senior, he was named Rhode Island's 2006 Gatorade Player of the Year, received Louisville Slugger Player of the Year honors, and won a full athletic scholarship to Duke University. Stud was selected as an All-American and now holds the lowest ERA in Duke baseball history after only his freshman season. After the promising start to Stud's collegiate baseball career, however, Tommy John surgery put him on the sidelines. Suddenly, making music became an outlet for him to pass the time. After only a few public releases of self-composed songs, he began to get notable recognition for his rhyming ability and was encouraged to continue. After graduating Duke, Stud transferred to Georgetown to continue his studies as a graduate student and to continue his attempt at regaining full strength on the mound. Needless to say, he also continued working on music in his down time."

This was Mike Studs first video release on Youtube College Humor December 29, 2010.

Now almost 4 years, 120+ videos, 2 albums, and multiple tours later, Mike stud has been making more and more noise with every release. He has branded his shows as massive parties with lots of tits and alcohol (whats not to like right), and you can see for yourself watching one of there tour mini series videos Tourings Boring filmed and edited by @JonKilmer or (kilmer the filmer).

From rocking a show with handful of people at a bar in rhode island, to this...
